What are we up to?

After all of these years (12 and a half to be exact) we still love wedding photography. We shoot less than half of what the team used to just because that’s how life goes- but when we do get to be part of someone’s beginning of their forever, there’s that little spark that ignites again. Especially when you get to be around amazing people like Mr & Mrs Pierce 🤍 They’ve had their gallery for quite a while now, but since the bride has had time to share I wanted to take time & honor this gorgeous wedding day with with the most amazing vendors on my Instagram feed too. 🤍

They are the kind of people who choose me time and time again to celebrate the most important moments in their family, they cheer me on AND tell other people about my business. I truly don’t know how I am so blessed with clients who turn into good friends like these! The artist life is tough at times with the late nights and the imposter syndrome but people like this make me love what I do!! I’m the lady with the camera!! It’s been a minute since I’ve “introduced” myself so let’s catch up!!

🌻Aside from Jesus, my greatest love and joy in life are my three boys! Lance (my husband of 11.5 years), Quinn and Quade are my sun and moon and stars!
🌻My husband Lance and I turned our hobby into our business 12 years ago (when I was 22 😅) and it’s still going strong! Before I was full time, I actually taught 5th graders for 6 years! Now photography has been my full time job for the past 6 years!
🌻 Favorite photo session type- Sweet families with crazy toddlers- I love a good challenge 😉 Although newborns also have my heart!
🌻Fav food is pickles and fav drink is Dr Pepper Zero although I’m on a soda hiatus atm. Fav color is yellow!
🌻If I ever have any extra time for myself (rarely these days) you’ll find me SEWING! It’s a growing passion of mine so you’ll likely see some of it here!
🌻I started my photography mentorship program last fall and it’s still going strong! I am PASSIONATE about helping budding photographers and NOT gatekeeping my art and the business behind it.
🌻I opened my in-home studio this past January and I’m SO excited about my new ideas for it coming up (Hint- think Christmas❄️!!)
🌻I love my two fur babies like my own children! We have two cockapoos named Posie and Poppy!

I truly am so blessed to get to take pictures of such amazing people for my actual career. I know this great big world is weird at times but what never goes away is our love for our families. As cliché as it sounds, I am so passionate about helping everyone freeze those precious moments in time. Thank you for the opportunity and trust you have in me to do just that. 🥹 Always grateful.

Beautiful studio newborn session from last month (yes, I’m still playing catch up on Instagram and probably will forever be, haha). I just love the way Julie styled their outfits for this session! So very classic and they fit perfectly with my studio! I tend to lean towards lighter colors for indoor session outfits because it acts as a reflector in the room! Of course I can make any color work, but that’s just a little free tip for your next indoor shoot! 😘

This beautiful mama, (like so many other women) was told that her chances of having a baby were less than favorable- BUT GOD!! Now she is expecting a DOUBLE BLESSING- yes, TWINS!!! And one of each, one boy and one girl!! Cannot wait to meet them!!

I’m so grateful this job has brought me so many wonderful new friends in our new town! We’ve officially lived in Conway for a little over a year now and it sure feels like home!! It’s hard not to feel that way when you work with such kind people like these!! Sweet little Vivi turned ONE🌼 last month and I just can’t believe it! That sure was a quick year! 🥹
